You're pretty excited about your new R.E.M. machine.  You've wanted one since they came out two years ago, but your parents weren't too keen on the idea of you having one... Well, they still aren't too keen on the idea of you using one, but as long as they don't know you have one, what they don't know won't hurt them. Actually, you really have no idea why they don't like them, and they never really went out of their way to explain their reasoning behind it.  You figured that you would just order it now, and let them warm to the idea of it.  It'll be easier that way. Anyways, you're too excited to really care about consequences now.
